Curriculum Intent

Our adaptive curriculum is designed to enable all students achieve fluency in everyday Maths skills and problem solving, which will lead to confidence and resilience, thus enabling them to access all opportunities provided within the Grange Academy and beyond.

 

-A knowledge based curriculum, which provides students with opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of the links between mathematical skills and everyday life.

-A curriculum which is engaging and promotes a love of learning in Mathematics and across the curriculum.

-An adaptive curriculum which is informed from up to date educational research.

-A challenging curriculum which is sequenced to progressively build on prior knowledge, so students are inspired to learn new material in a meaningful manner and develop their understanding.
