Home Work

At The Grange we recognise the importance of homework to student progress. Studies show that students who regularly complete good quality homework activities over their primary years can make succeed much further in their adult life. As a result we expect all our students to produce homework tasks that meet the deadlines set by their teachers.

All of our students can expect the following standards:

Homework will always help students to make progress, and never simply be set for its own sake

All year groups will set homework based on the students' ability level

All students will be given homework via Tapestry or See Saw, which can both be accessed via the links below:

If students require their login details they can be given by their teacher.

What will teachers do if they have any concerns? Teachers will write any concerns that they have about homework onto the Tapestry or See Saw websites and parents can access this with their logins which were sent home with students. Homework feedback will be monitored every half term so that we can alert you to any concerns that we have.

What should parents/carers do if you have a homework concern?

For minor concerns parents/carers should logon to their Tapestry or See Saw portal where they can write comments and concerns available for the teacher's reply.
