Curriculum Intent

Successful and confident students who are able to live, safe and fulfilling lives, who become responsible citizens, who make positive contributions to society and continue to enjoy learning, through culture capital, about how they fit into the local, national and global geographical, historical and spiritual aspects of society to become truly global citizens.

The curriculum has been sequenced in order to build on knowledge, skills and understanding to increase the students’ ability to recall from Year 7 through to Year 11 and to be able to apply learnt knowledge to questions in a critical and personal manner that makes them more interested in and have an understanding of the wider society that they belong to.
