PSHCEE

Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic Education.

PSHCEE is taught within the curriculum each week. Students will study a unit of the PSHCEE curriculum each half term with an assessment at the end of the period.

Aims of PSHCEE are to encourage all young people to become:
  • Successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve.
  • Confident individuals who are able to live, safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
  • Responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.
  • Independent enquirers, creative thinkers, reflective learners, team workers, self- managers and effective participators.

A wide range of topics such as personal and economic well-being, citizenship,identities, diversity, e-safety & healthy relationships are studied within PSHCEE and this allows learners to develop skills and knowledge which will ensure they leave the school as a well-rounded member of the community.
