A visit from Status Quo

Students in Year 5 to Year 10 had an excellent time engaging in a workshop with Jeff Rich, the drummer from Status Quo. Students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and their participation and behaviour was fantastic.

When a student asked Jeff ‘how long did it take you to learn to play the drums’, Jeff had these comments and advice for students: “I’m still learning. I’ve been playing for over 50 years and I am still learning. You never stop learning. Whatever you want to do in your life, you need to put effort in. The more effort you put in, the more you get back. I practice for 2 hours every day. I’m still learning"
