Welcome to
The Grange Academy - Nursery

Our year group is split into 2 classes and we are taught by Mrs Day as well as having the help of Mrs Carr and Mrs Winn to support us with our learning.

Our term topic this term is ‘Myself and My Family'

The children will enjoy making new friends and finding out about their likes and dislikes, things they are good at and things they would like to do better. They will be introduced to new routines and explore their surroundings. Staff will carefully plan exciting activities based around the children’s interests. This may include stories told through role-play and investigating changes to ourselves and our families over time. As the term progresses the children will take part in exciting activities linked to various festivals and Christmas festivities.

Parent Views

"Since coming to Nursery Lillie is a lot more confident around other children and will now happily make friends. We have also noticed she is a lot more independent and now tries doing things for herself before asking us to help her. Lillie always comes home from Nursery happy and ready to tell us about her morning."
"We would like to say thank you! Lola has lots of fun and loves going to nursery."
"We are very happy with Scarlett’s progress. She now has a lot more confidence, since she started Nursery. She seems to have settled in well and is enjoying going to Nursery every day."
"Ruby loves coming to Nursery and she’s settled well into the routine. She has really bonded with the staff and looks forward to seeing her friends. Ruby has grown in confidence and independence; and her writing and attempts at reading words is brilliant!"
